Looking For A New Cat? Try Talia

The Pet of the Week from Save-A-Pet is a cat who just wants to go live with a family.

The husband’s allergies, that's what got in the way with my last family…so here I am at Save-A-Pet, a no-kill shelter in Grayslake.

I was accustomed to being the only cat, so I am quite stressed around here. I often am hissing and always on the run, looking for a spot where everyone will leave me alone.

So naturally the first impression I make on people is not always the best. If you talk to me in a gentle voice, however, I will stay there and enjoy the attention and petting unless of course another cat comes too close to me.

I am a bit chubby, I am not going to lie about that, so could probably shed a pound or two. My family said that if people were coming over, I would often first hide but then would eventually come out to check what was going on. I enjoyed sleeping in the sun.

They also reported that while I may be a bit timid, I am loving and affectionate. I am four-paw declawed. Please give me a look.
