More Snow Headed Our Way

Forecasts are calling for more snow to begin falling at about 5 p.m. Friday, according to AOL Weather. 

Lake effect snow is possible over Lake County this evening with snow expected to continue to fall tonight. The National Weather Service is predicting 1 to 3 inches of snow for Grayslake by the end of the day Saturday. 

A winter weather advisory is in effect for Cook, Will, Kankakee and Grundy counties.  A total of three to six inches of snow could fall by late Saturday morning for areas under a winter weather advisory

Heavier snowfall accumulations are expected south of the city near Kankakee.
