Rain to Start Off the Week; Cooler Temperatures Remain

What's the forecast for Lake County this week?

"Raindrops keep fallin' on my head."

You just might be singing that on Monday. Perhaps even Tuesday and Wednesday. 

Get those umbrellas ready. There's a 70 percent chance of precipitation on Monday, with a high near 73, according to the National Weather Service in Chicago. We may even see some thunderstorms.

There's just a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms during the day on Tuesday, which will also see a high near 83. Tuesday night will see a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms.

On Wednesday, we'll see a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, and a high near 81, according to the National Weather Service in Chicago.

The forecast for the remainder of the week calls for mostly sunny skies Thursday through Sunday. The forecast highs are 76 on Thursday, 80 on Friday, and 77 both Saturday and Sunday.
