Farmers Market and Farm History This Week

What are your plans for the week?

Looking for something to do this week?

There's always the Grayslake Farmers Market? Or you could learn about climate change and the oceans during a special program at the Byron Colby Barn.

Whatever you decide to do, have a great week!

Farm History

Stop by the Grayslake Heritage Center and Museum, 164 Hawley St., to see the "Farms: Seeds of Our Community" special exhibit. Hours at the museum are noon to 4 p.m. Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and during the Farmers' Market on Wednesday evenings and during other downtown Grayslake events.

Summer Market Continues

Need some fresh fruit and vegetables? The Grayslake Farmers Market will be held from 3-7 p.m. Aug. 28 on Center Street.

Climate Change and the Oceans

A presentation about climate change and the oceans will be held at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 28 in the Byron Colby Barn at Prairie Crossing. The event is free.
