Fundraiser for Racho Family, Village Board Meeting This Week

Village Board Meeting

The Grayslake Village Board will hold its meeting at 7 p.m. Nov. 5 at Village Hall. Items on the agenda include recognizing Sgt. Joe Holtz for 15 years of service and a waste hauling ordinance. See the agenda here. 

Fundraiser for the Racho Family

Culver's of Grayslake, 1239 Route 83, will hold a fundraiser Nov. 7 for the Racho family. The Hainesville lost their home to a fire Oct. 18. The restaurant will donate 10 percent of the entire day's sales to the family, and they will also be collecting donations - including money or household/personal goods. Babysitting Course

The Grayslake Park District will host the American Red Cross Babysitting Course from 9:15 a.m. to 2:15 p.m. Nov. 9. The class is $75 for residents and $94 for non-residents. Find more information about the class on the park district website.
