Veterans Day Assembly, LEGO Building and National Gaming Day This Week

Here's a look at some events coming up:
Veterans Day Assembly
Frederick School, 595 Frederick Road, will host two 30-minute Veterans Day assemblies Nov. 11. All local veterans are invited to attend the assemblies, which are slated for 9:40 to 10:10 a.m. and 10:20 to 10:50 a.m. Refreshments will be served for the veterans.
LEGO Building at the Park District
The Grayslake Park District will host a LEGO event from 6:15-8 p.m. Nov. 15 at the Recreation Center, 240 Commerce Drive. Children can build LEGO structures and enjoy pizza and juice. The cost is $25 for residents and $31 for non-residents. For more information, call Shelly Regnier at (847) 223-7529.
National Gaming Day
The Grayslake Library will participate in National Gaming Day on Nov. 16. Patrons can play "plugged" games from 10:30-11:30 a.m. and 1:30-2:30 p.m., along with "unplugged" games all day. For more information, visit the library website.
