Candidate Forum, Economic Forecast Luncheon and Pajama Party This Weekend

Economic Forecast Luncheon

The University Center of Lake County will host the 7th Annual Economic Forecast Lake County Luncheon at 11 a.m. Jan. 17. Keynote speaker William Strauss, senior economist with the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, will present his forecast for the coming year. Click here for more information.

Winnie the Pooh Pajama Party

The Grayslake Park District will host a "Winnie the Pooh Pajama Party" from 9:30-10:30 a.m. Jan. 18. The event will include a craft and story. The cost is $15 for residents and $19 for non-residents. For more information, visit the park district website.

Candidate Forum

The American Legion Post at 111 Main St. in Round Lake will host the Avon Township Democrats Candidate Forum at 10 a.m. Jan. 18. The forum will feature Lt. Gov. Sheila Simon, along with several other candidates. Click here for more information.
