Farm History Exhibit, Long Grove Heritage Days this Weekend

You could check out the farm history exhibit at the Grayslake Heritage Center and Museum. Or maybe you want to venture out to Long Grove's Heritage Days.

Farm History

Stop by the Grayslake Heritage Center and Museum, 164 Hawley St., to see the "Farms: Seeds of Our Community" special exhibit. Hours at the museum are noon to 4 p.m. Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays and during the Farmers' Market on Wednesday evenings and during other downtown Grayslake events.

Buffalo Grove Days

Buffalo Grove Days, which runs from Aug. 29 to Sept. 2, will feature five days of entertainment including live music, a carnival, food and beverages, shopping and more. Check out information about events here.

Long Grove Heritage Days

Long Grove will return to its hometown roots with Heritage Days from Aug. 31 through Sept. 2, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day. Guests can learn about different cultures, including food and dance. Read more about the event here.
