Zombie Run, Fire Department Open House This Weekend

Zombie Run
The Oasis Grayslake Youth Center will hold a Dead Last 5K Zombie Run at 3 p.m. Oct. 12. Runners will flee from zombies during the event, which will be held at the College of Lake County. Find out more about this event here.
Fire Department Open House
The Grayslake Fire Department will hold a pancake breakfast and open house from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 13. The fire station is located at 160 Hawley St.
Pumpkin Farms and More
Want to check out a pumpkin farm or corn maze this weekend? Patch has put together a map of the local pumpkin farms, corn mazes and fall festivals. As for the weather, there's a 40 percent chance of showers on Saturday, but Sunday should be beautiful, with a high near 67 and sunny skies.
