Fantastic, first-class salon! The staff makes you feel comfortable and at home right from the start. I've been lucky enough to have gotten services from multiple staff members and have loved 'em all. Very professional and they LISTEN to your requests and work with you until your ultimate hair (or nail..or any other service) goals are achieved.

I love Ashley Alwin hair salon. I have been going since they opened in downtown Grayslake. I have been getting my hair cut by Sara, one of the owners, for close to 10 years. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Their salon is very stylish and the staff is very friendly. All employees have a dedication to their craft and continue to learn new haircutting techniques. Sara is great about using products that are organic. I love it!
Ashley Alwin is a gem in historic downtown Grayslake. I have been getting my haircut and colored with Sara as soon as she opened her doors in the Fall of '09. I have lived in many cities on the East coast as well as NYC. I honestly feel I receive the BEST haircuts & color of my adult life with Sara and her knowledge. Sara is a master. She loves what she does and she is beyond good at it.
Love Liz and her crew for nails as well...need to get more nail treatments in the future!
