The Kiwanis Club is an international organization with the goal of serving the needs of the world's children. The Grayslake chapter primarily serves the Key Clubs of both Grayslake North and Central High Schools, raising funds to send high school Key Club members to leadership conferences. The Grayslake Kiwanis Club hosts its signature event, the Kiss the Pig contest, at the Grayslake Summer Days event in August. All proceeds go to the high school Key Clubs, children's needs and other programs. Meetings are held at the State Bank of the Lakes each Wednesday.
