Good Samaritan Animal Relief Fund, Inc
1203 N IL Route 83, Grayslake, IL 60030
The Good Samaritan program is a registered 501(c)3 not-for-profit charity dedicated to the care and rehabilitation ofMore animals in need. Best Friends Animal Hospital established this program to meet the needs of injured or sick domestic pets that do not have an owner, as well as injured wildlife brought to our hospital. The program is supported solely by donations and managed by Best Friends Animal Hospital and volunteers from our staff. The Good Samaritan Animal Relief Fund receives NO state or federal funding. We are not a public animal shelter or adoption facility, and our cage space and resources are limited. The public, local law enforcement, Lake County Animal Control, the Conservation Police and other area animal hospitals all refer wildlife cases or homeless pets to our Good Samaritan program. We do not charge organizations or members of the community who bring in animals eligible for treatment under the Good Samaritan program; we rely solely on donations of supplies and funds to continue caring for these animals. We have helped thousands of animals since 1997. Your financial support is greatly appreciated and fully tax deductible. If you would like to make a donation or inquire about adoptions, please contact the Good Samaritan Animal Relief Fund.
