New Medicare database shows how hospitals across serving the Chicago area — and the rest of the nation — compare for care. Wait times at Advocate Condell Hospital in Libertyville are less than the state average.

The food will be collected and donated to local community food banks before Thanksgiving. Flu shots are available while supplies last. Advocate Condell Medical Center is offering free health screenings at local events in the coming weeks. Condell will offer a finger-stick test to measure blood glucose. High blood glucose levels are most commonly linked to pre-diabetes or diabetes. Results will be available immediately. Participants must fast for at least 8 hours prior to screening.
