The Second City Comes to Barrington High School
The comedy group will perform Jan. 25 to raise money for Dash to Cure Diabetes.
World-renowned Second City comedy group is taking the stage at Barrington High School next week, all for a good cause. Dash to Cure Diabetes is presenting the show Friday, Jan. 25 at 8 p.m. The money raised from ticket sales will benefit the American Diabetes Association, and help pay for diabetic children to attend Triangle D Kids summer camp in Volo, Ill. “It provides kids a traditional summer camp, but surrounds them with pediatric endocrinologists and educators to help manage their blood sugars effectively and more independently,” Karl Fruecht, President of Dash to Cure Diabetes said. Good job to the students that were involved with this project. What a shame that Rhianna and her Management Team were so disrespectful to these excited young people. Rhianna would not be my choice for a role model however I do understand that young people have a different view.
