Traditions of the Season

Our family is building new ones while hanging on to many of the old.

While putting up our Christmas tree Zach and Abby started sorting through the ornaments we were about to hang. "What's this one from?" "Who gave you this?" What does this say?" They are full of questions. Most of the ornaments in our box have a story behind them. I can remember where most of them came from or who gave them to us. We came across those we had purchased for the kids last year. A ceramic cookie cutout in the letters A and Z, decorated with sparkling sprinkles. On the back of hers I had written – Abby, 2 ½ yrs. Old – Learning our letters. When the kids saw that they immediately wanted to hear the story about how and when we started learning our ABC's. The tree decorating was followed by a trip to pick out this year's ornaments…
