Grayslake North High School Takes Second at State Event

North Advance Placement students apply principles of economics to take second in state competition.

Grayslake North High School earned second place in the 2012 Illinois Economics Challenge State Finals, a program of Econ Illinois.   The event involved 40 high school students competing for the Championship title on April 18 at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago. The Grayslake North team pulled ahead of eight competing student teams to earn Second Place after a hard-fought final round in the competition, according to a release by Illinois Economics Challenge representatives. The North team included: They received a trophy and framed certificate for their school, individual medals and certificates as well as Visa gift cards for each team member.
