“Be not afraid, neither be dismayed, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” — Joshua 1: 9 (AMP)
We recently had the pleasure of baby-sitting two of our grandchildren. The 8-month-old was sound asleep in the crib and the 6-year-old big brother wanted to go into the bedroom to get something. My husband, aka “PaPa” simply said it was okay to go ahead and get it, but keep the light off. At that news our grandson froze in his steps and responded, “Come with me, Papa!” The thought of going into the dark took the joy out of retrieving his item. I also sing a little jingle, " Expect a miracle!" at the end of each speaking engagement I do. I've believed in miracles since I was a little girl. Christmastime was always an occasion to increase my faith for good things to happen as I anticipated what presents might be under my tree. Throughout the years, although the things I was believing for became a tougher stretch of my faith, I never stopped believing for them. Even when it seemed impossible I kept it up—for that's when we need miracles the most. Twice in my life I have been told by doctors, "Your child will probably not live through the …
