Garbage Pick-Up In Grayslake Delayed Due To Holidays
Put out your garbage and recycling one date later than normal after the holidays.
The Village of Grayslake is reminding people that due to the Christmas and New Year’s holidays, garbage and recycling pick-up will be delayed one day during the week of Dec. 25, 2011 and Jan. 1, 2012. There will be no garbage or recycling service on Monday, Dec. 26 or Monday, Jan. 2; service will take place one day later. Rather, service will take place on Tuesday, Dec. 27 and Tuesday, Jan. 3. Garbage Can Exchange If residents want to have a larger or smaller trash can, that is possible in the new year. Registration for the 2012 Garbage Can Exchange Program will take place between Jan. 1 and Feb. 15, 2012.
