Clean Gray's Lake, Find Treasure
Join your friends and neighbors in the Gray's Lake Clean Up, today June 9. Kids can have fun hunting for treasure chests and "gold" coins.
Dont miss the Gray's Lake Clean Up and Treasure Hunt today Saturday, June 9. Volunteers can check in between 9 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. at Jones Island Park. They will get a free T-shirt and be assigned to a work crew with other residents, friends and neighbors. From 9:30 a.m to 11:30 a.m., volunteers will clean up the lake and the shoreline. From 11:30 a.m. to noon, they will take photos of the work crews and award the Treasure Hunt prizes. Pizza and hot dogs will be served. The Grayslake Park District event is sponsored by: The event takes place rain or shine, but it looks like it will be a perfectly sunny day for this event.
