Make the Most of Black Friday at Local Malls
Malls across the region are offering steep price drops, giveaways and special promotions to those willing to fight the crowds the day after Thanksgiving.
Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg isn’t wasting a minute of shopping time on Black Friday. Doors will open at midnight and all stores will be open, spokeswoman Carol Vesely said. In addition to Black Friday sales at the individual stores, the mall is offering a couple of extra holiday promotions. The first 250 pajama-clad adults who enter through Door 1 at midnight will receive a $20 Woodfield Mall American Express gift card as well as a Santa hat. Door 1 is located on the lower level of the JCPenney wing, near Subway and Santa’s Treasure Chest. Early morning shoppers can also qualify for a free shopping tote.
