Lake County Sheriff Seeks Reserve Deputies
Citizens can apply to be a reserve deputy for the Lake County Sheriff.
Lake County Sheriff Mark Curran is seeking citizens to join the Lake County Sheriff’s Office team of Reserve Deputies. The Lake County Sheriff’s Reserve Deputy Unit is a dedicated group of volunteers who assist the Sheriff’s Office sworn personnel on an emergency basis. Reserves may be called upon for a variety of reasons, including such things as directing traffic, searching for a missing person, or supplementing security for events such as the Lake County Fair. Reserves are uniformed civilians that are specially trained by the Sheriff’s Office to perform the duties required of them.
