Check out Save-A-Pet's animal of the week!
I was found in a shed with my kittens, and I got to enjoy the good life in one of Save-A-Pet’s foster homes while I was taking care of my kittens. My foster family said I enjoy eating and I was definitely not a picky eater. Since coming back to Save-A-Pet, I am always first in line for the breakfast canned food in the morning—definitely not a shy girl. After feeding time is over, I can often be found relaxing or napping on the front porch, sometimes even on my back. I can be quite talkative and enjoy petting, too. While in foster, I nipped a little bit if I was getting overstimulated, but since coming here, I have been much better. After all, now that I am spayed and no longer have to worry about my babies, I have been able to calm down …

Interested in adopting Jax?
They call me Jax but with flowing locks like mine, I’m truly the “Fabio” of Save-A-Pet. Handsome may be my game, but like any eligible bachelor; I can be picky when it comes to finding the right person for me. I’m looking to be your one and only pet in an adult home. If this home sounds like yours, trust me, I will be the addition you are looking for. Once you’ve gained my trust, I’ll hop right up on your lap and lavish in your love. Calm and positive is the energy I need and together we can build a lifetime of memories. Ask to set up a meeting with me soon—we’ll call it our first date! He is about 9 years old, neutered, up-to-date on routine shots and rabies, heartworm negative and on preventative and microchipped. Special adoption …

Check out Save-a-Pet's animal of the week!
Shy no more! I had a short adoption where my family said I didn’t get along with the other cat, but here I’m just fine. I even spent quite a long time sharing a small space with my siblings and we always had so much fun together. My family said that I was the most affectionate cat, always curled up by her side. As soon as I would hear the door open, I would come running up, greeting her after a long day at work. If she wanted to relax, we would sometimes play fetch and I would bring my mouse toy back every time. He is about a year old, neutered, up-to-date on routine shots (incl. rabies), tested negative for FIV and feline leukemia and microchipped. Looking for someone to share your secrets with, he is waiting for you. Don’t forget all his…

Looking for a new family cat? Adopt this lovable cat at Save-A-Pet.
Financial reasons forced my family to give me up. This is the only home I have known since kittenhood. I was raised with kids and am very good with them. I’m a super friendly cat that never turns my nose up to any loving I can get. At night, I love sleeping on the bed with you and I'm always ready for a snuggling session. If people are busy, I'm happy spending time by the window, watching the birds. Not to brag, but everyone says that I'm such a wonderful cat so if you are looking for an affectionate big guy and don't mind sharing a spot on your lap or on your bed, don't make me wait. From Save-A-Pet: He is about 5 years old, neutered, and up-to-date on routine shots including rabies. He tested negative for FIV and feline leukemia and is …

Is it time to play outside? Before I came to Save-A-Pet, I spent most of my time in a crate because my family didn't have time for me. Now that I'm at the adoption center, I have friends that take me out for walks and take me to the play yard so that I can run around. I make the most of my time outside—I love to run, smell everything around me and play with my favorite half jelly ball. I'm also happy to just sit and watch everyone around me while I get petted and brushed. Although I've been known to be quite an independent guy and might appear aloof when we first meet, if you give me a chance you'll find that I've got a lot of love to give. With some time and a little bit of patience, I know we'll become great friends. It's important for …

I'm Strawberry, the hero of a long and sometimes sad story. My first chapter began when I was just a small kitten. Save-A-Pet found me a home and I lived with a family for four years. Then they abandoned me, just dumped me out on the street. I'll never understand why. Luckily, my microchip led back to Save-A-Pet where I've spent much of my life. I'm a mature gentleman now, and I'd love a home with a laser pointer that I could chase. I love cats and dogs, so if you already have pets, I'd fit in quite nicely. Give me a head or a chin scratch and we could be friends forever. I am on a special diet and insulin, but it's not a big deal, Save-A-Pet will teach you how to do it. I'm available for adoption or permanent foster, so come and meet me. …
