Hi, I'm Gwen. I began writing seriously around the age of 10. Being homeschooled, I had more time to develop specific skills, and when I was 18, I published my first novel.

I studied Theatre at CLC, and after graduation, I attended a one-year leadership internship in Texas. I then attended a two-year media internship in the same state where I learned a lot about interviewing, camera work, and voiceovers. While my interest lies in becoming a voiceover artist, I will always write. I came to Patch with the hopes of bringing to light the stories Grayslake residents have to offer.

I love adventures, reading, singing, playing the piano, movies, biking, boating, and playing ice hockey and football with my friends.
