I have been in the hair industry for 7 years and 5 years were spent educating for RUSK, an international hair manufacturer. As an educator with Rusk it has opened many doors of opportunity, for example educating on stage at high-energy hair shows, teaching at beauty academies and visiting salons to hold private in-salon classes are just some of the things that I have done. Sharing the latest in hair trends has always been a passion of mine, so I've since started educating for SURFACE. Currently I co-own Ashley Alwin Hair & Nail Salon and continue to work with my staff on the latest and greatest in the hair industry. In addition to everything I have shared with you, I also worked hard for an Associates degree in the Arts which has also helped me apply artistic theory to my work. I am passionate about what I do. I thrive on making people feel better about themselves and helping guests to embrace change.
