Grayslake Schools: Important Dates to Remember

School starts in just a few weeks, and there are many important dates for parents to remember. 

Here's a look at some items you may want to mark on your calendar:

Grayslake District 46

Aug. 6-7: Central Registration, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Frederick School
Aug. 7: School Choice Parent Meeting for Avon School parents, 5:30 p.m., Avon School
Aug. 8-9: Frederick School Kick-Off Camp for incoming fifth-graders, Frederick School
Aug. 15: Grayslake Middle School seventh grade locker orientation for incoming seventh-graders, 3-5 p.m., Frederick School
Aug. 19-20: Staff Institute Day, no student attendance
Aug. 21: First day of school for grades 1-8. Early release.
Aug. 22: First day of school for kindergartners
Aug. 26: First day of school for pre-kindergarten students; Back to School Night at Grayslake Middle School

Grayslake Central High School

Aug. 12: Freshman Orientation, 7:30 a.m. to noon
Aug. 13: Tech Campus Parent Meeting, 6:30-7:30 p.m.
Aug. 15: First day of school
Aug. 29: Back to School Night, 6:30 p.m.

Grayslake North High School

Aug. 12: Freshman Orientation, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.; Fall Athletic Parent Night, 6:30-8 p.m.
Aug. 15: First day of school
Aug. 22: Back to School Night, 6 p.m.
Aug. 26: Senior College Planning Night, 6:30-7:30 p.m.
