It's official!
The Village of Grayslake will host its first hot air balloon festival, Color Aloft!, Aug. 24. Trustee Bruce Bassett offered an update to his fellow trustees at their July 16 meeting, stating that six balloons have been secured for the festival.
There will also be musical entertainment at the event, which will be held in Central Park, Bassett said.
"Come on out, bring your kids and have a great time," said Bassett.
There will be no cost to attend the event.
