Allstate Sues Grayslake Man Who Embezzled $760,000

Insurance company seeks restitution from Grayslake man doing time for embezzlement.

Former Allstate insurance employee Ricardo Campos, 36, of Grayslake, is serving five years in prison for embezzling more than $760,000, and now the company wants its money back, reports the Chicago Tribune.

Campos, who is being sued for restitution, transfered the structured settlement payments of beneficiaries that died to his own bank account by manipulating Allstate's system to make it appear those people were still alive and eligible for payments, according to the newspaper.
