Police Blotter: Alcohol, Traffic Arrests

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Grayslake Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

Alcohol

Robert C. Wodek, 32, of 33295 N. Indian Lane, Wildwood, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol Aug. 17 near Lake and Washington Streets. He was also cited for disobeying a traffic control device, driving in the wrong lane, improper lane usage, and failure to wear a properly adjusted and fastened seat safety belt. He was released on $1,000 bond and his drivers license pending a Sept. 3 court date.

Oscar Ramos, 41 of 1907 Country Drive, Grayslake, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol Aug. 18 on the 1900 block of Country Drive. He was released on $3,000 bond pending a Sept. 9 court date.

Battery

Carisis I. Zuaznabar, 25, of 1469 Mayfair Lane, Grayslake, was charged with battery Aug. 17 on the 300 block of Pineview Drive. He was also cited for criminal trespass to state-supported property and resisting arrest of a peace officer. He was released on $1,200 bond pending a Sept. 9 court date.

Endangering the Life of a Child

Laura C. Hernandez, 45, of 4 Tall Oak Drive, Hainesville, was charged with endangering the life of a child less than age 18 Aug. 20 on the 800 block of Route 120. She was released on $1,200 bond pending a Sept. 3 court date.

Traffic

Hetles Bielma-Vazquez, 64, of 27 N. Park Ave., Waukegan, was charged with driving with a suspended/revoked drivers license Aug. 19 near Atkinson Road and Route 120. Bielma-Vazquez was also cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle. Bielma-Vazquez was released on $2,000 bond pending a Sept. 18 court date.

Mitchel G. Gebauer, 24, of 40516 N. Fairview St., Antioch, was charged with driving with a suspended/revoked drivers license Aug. 20 near Shorewood Road and Route 83. He was also cited for failure to reduce speed/failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. He was released on $1,500 bond pending a Sept. 18 court date.

Michael T. Lee, 34, of 1422 N. Channel Drive, Round Lake Beach, was charged with driving with a suspended/revoked drivers license Aug. 22 on the 1900 block of Route 83. He was released on $1,500 bond pending a Sept. 18 court date.

La Shonda N. Eiland, 32, of 1642 Amnesty Drive, North Point, was charged with driving with a suspended/revoked drivers license Aug. 23 near Rollins and Hook Roads. She was also cited for having improper lighting-one headlamp. She was released on $1,200 bond pending a Sept. 18 court date.

Fabiola E. Celis, 46, of 311 Stewart Ave., Waukegan, was charged with not having a valid drivers license Aug. 23 near Casey Road and Route 45. She was released on $1,200 bond pending a Sept. 18 court date.
