Police Investigate Abduction of Lake County Girl
Police said the girl was abducted Monday evening in Mundelein and then returned a short time later, according to the Daily Herald.
Mundelein police are investigating an incident that occurred Monday evening where a man abducted a 3-year-old girl outside a local apartment complex and then returned her about a half-hour later, according to the Daily Herald.
The girl was in in front of the Diamond Lake Condominiums, 550 Deepwoods Drive, with her mother and two siblings when a man, described as black or Hispanic, in a smaller black vehicle grabbed her and drove off, according to the article. The girl was found a short time later in a parking lot near where she was abducted, according to the Daily Herald.
