Two people sustained non-life threatening injuries in a head-on crash Saturday afternoon in Grayslake.
Deputy Fire Chief Greg Formica said the accident occurred at 2:54 p.m. in front of the entrance to Speedway on Route 83. He said it took crews about 15 minutes to extricate a woman from one of the vehicles. She was transported to Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville with "serious but non-life threatening injuries," Formica said.
An individual from the second vehicle was also transported to Condell with minor injuries, Formica said.
