Historic Concrete Street Signs to Stay in Grayslake

Officials believe that only Grayslake and Park Ridge are the only suburbs with this type of street sign, according to the Daily Herald.

While village board members have considered replacing old concrete street signs in the heritage section of Grayslake, they recently decided to keep the historic markers, according to the Daily Herald. 

Village board members approved a contract with two companies to install new concrete street poles making Grayslake and Park Ridge the last suburbs that officials believe still have the historic street signs, according to the Daily Herald.
