Grayslake Businesses to Offer Holiday Scavenger Hunt on Small Business Saturday

The scavenger hunt will include a raffle with diamond earrings or an iPad as prizes.

Want to visit Grayslake's businesses and have a chance to win diamond earrings or an iPad?

Dozens of Grayslake businesses will be featured in a Holiday Scavenger Hunt planned for Small Business Saturday, Nov. 30.

Shoppers will begin their scavenger hunt journey at The Fitting Room, where they will collect their scavenger hunt card and bag. Then, they must collect all of the designated items from each of the participating businesses, after which they will earn two entries for the raffle.

Participants can also earn additional entries, including making a purchase at any of the businesses listed on the scavenger hunt card or by visiting the bonus locations (Uncommonly Boutique, Rudolph's Furniture, Fresh Salon and Bejeweled). Participants will also earn one additional entry per $50 spent at the listed local businesses.

The businesses that will be included on the scavenger hunt card are: Alwin Anthony, Abel's, Charlies, The Vine, Decorum, State Farm, The Fitting Room, 2 Bead or Knot 2 Bead, Rowland Framing, Dollar General, Awesome Nails, Emil's, Sheer Genius, This Old Book, Audrey's, Cacao Sweets & Treats, Canine Clippers, Crew Cuts, Extra Value Liquors, Light the Lamp, The Bloom Room, The Refuge, Slightly Off Center and Spex.

Bejeweled will be donating the diamond earrings for the raffle, and Blue Horizon Systems will donate an iPad.

Tickets to participate in the Holiday Scavenger Hunt cost $6 each and are on sale at The Fitting Room, 11 S. Lake St, or online. Each ticket is worth one raffle entry, regardless of participation.
