PADS Sites in Lake County Seeking Volunteers
Volunteers are largely needed between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m. at 14 Lake County churches.
PADS sites all over Lake County are seeking volunteers for this year's program, which will start Oct. 1 and run through the end of April.
While just four or five volunteers are still needed at United Protestant in Grayslake, PADS Site Manager Rose Pech said there are 13 other churches that need help.
Those churches, and the days they serve as PADS sites, include:
- Shepherd of the Lakes Lutheran Church, Grayslake (Monday)
- Wildwood Presbyterian, Grayslake (Tuesday)
- First Presbyterian, Libertyville (Tuesday)
- Wesley Free Methodist, Waukegan (Tuesday)
- Shiloh Baptist, Waukegan (Wednesday)
- St. Mary of the Annunciation, Mundelein (Wednesday)
- St. Mary of Vernon, Indian Creek (Thursday)
- St. Mark Lutheran, Lindenhurst (Friday)
- St. Anastasia Catholic, Waukegan (Friday)
- United Methodist, Libertyville (Saturday)
- Messiah Evangelical Lutheran, Wauconda (Saturday)
- Christian Assembly, Zion (Sunday)
- First Presbyterian, Deerfield (Sunday)
