2nd Annual Home Run for Education

Have a great time supporting a great cause! Home Run for Education is a coed 14-inch softball tournament benefiting Foundation 46. The tournament will begin at 9am on Saturday September 14th and continue until one team stands victorious!

Home Run for Education is open to all members of the community who are 18 years of age or older. Donations raised through Home Run for Education and other Foundation 46 initiatives help support:

Unless sponsored by a business, each team must raise a minimum of $400 in pledges by the day of the event to participate. Teams can get registered with a non-refundable $50 pledge deposit.

Teams should be comprised of both men and women (minimum of 4 women, please). Within 72 hours of registering, your team will have the ability to collect pledges on our website. Encourage your teammates, officemates, family & friends to visit our site to pledge on behalf of your team. 

Prizes will be awarded to the top fundraising team among teams raising in excess of $800 and a cash prize of $700 will be awarded to the championship team. Team benefits include:

  • Tournament entry for 10-15 players
  • Guarantee of 2 games played
  • Commemorative t-shirts for each team player on teams who register by August 29. Teams may wear whatever they choose while playing in the tournament.
