Police Blotter: Driving Under the Influence, Traffic Arrests

The Grayslake Police Department posted its latest police blotter, with items from Aug. 10-Sept. 27, 2013, on Oct. 1. This is the third installment.

The following incidents were listed among the official reports of the Grayslake Police Department. Readers are reminded that an arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt. Only a court of law can make that determination.

Alcohol

Julian D. Vaida, 24, of 08228 W. Elm St., Wildwood, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol Aug. 25 near Route 120 and Ashford Lane. He was also cited for DUI over .08 and improper lane usage. He was released on his drivers license and $1,000 bond pending a Sept. 17 court date.

Michelle S. Burgett, 42, of 442 Sierra Place, Gurnee, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol Aug. 25 near Route 45 and Gages Lake Road. She was also cited for DUI over .08 and failure to reduce speed/failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. She was released on her drivers license and $1,000 bond pending a Sept. 17 court date.

Drugs

Edward Stilke, 36, of 2317 W. Lincoln, McHenry, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia Aug. 26 on the 100 block of Glen Street. He was released on $1,200 bond pending a Sept. 18 court date.

Traffic

Arturo Leguizamo, 27, of 2620 20th St., Zion, was charged with driving with a suspended/revoked drivers license Aug. 23 near Casey Road and Route 45. He was also cited for operating an uninsured motor vehicle and failure to reduce speed/failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. He was released on a notice to appear in court Sept. 18. 

Michael J. Flores, 19, of 317 Bellevue Drive, Round Lake Park, was charged with not having a valid drivers license Aug. 26 on the 300 block of West Main Street. He was released on $1,500 bond pending a Sept. 18 court date.

Roger W. Coulter, 35, of 1325 Coventry Drive, Vernon Hills, was charged with driving with a suspended/revoked drivers license Aug. 30 near Route 83 and Center Street. He was released on a notice to appear in court Sept. 18. 

Erick Bardales, 31, of 174 Tall Oak Drive, Hainesville, was charged with improper passing of a school bus loading or unloading Aug. 30 near Centennial and Tall Oak Drives. He was released on his drivers license pending a Sept. 18 court date. 

Kylie R. Fecht, 21, of 1527 Golden Rod Terrace, Round Lake Beach, was charged with driving with a suspended/revoked drivers license Sept. 1 near Hainesville Road and Washington Street. She was released on $1,500 bond pending a Sept. 18 court date.
